Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth was a standout at the Golden Joystick Awards 2024, securing four of the seven awards it was nominated for. The game earned recognition for Best Storytelling, Best Soundtrack, Best Leading Performer (Cody Christian for Cloud Strife), and Best Supporting Performer (Briana White for Aerith Gainsborough).

Despite these wins, the game missed out on two major categories. Console Game of the Year went to Helldivers 2, while Black Myth: Wukong claimed Ultimate Game of the Year.
