Final Fantasy Trading Card Game Officially Announces Symphony of Heroes for March 2027
After already being revealed by various stores over the past few weeks, Square Enix’s Japanese FFTCG news blog has officially announced Symphony of Heroes, the 31st Opus booster set, releasing on March 26, 2027.
The set introduces a new Level Up ability, allowing characters to become stronger by stacking them on top of a copy of the same card already on the field. The manga Final Fantasy Lost Stranger also makes its FFTCG debut.
The announcement highlights newly commissioned artwork from across the Final Fantasy series, including Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Final Fantasy IX, Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy XV, and Final Fantasy Tactics – The Ivalice Chronicles.
The set also features a Special Card of Cloud, a Noir card of Tifa, and Legacy Cards of Thancred, Lightning, and Vaan, alongside 28 full-art premium cards.
