Final Fantasy Portal App Service Will End After 11 Years on October 29
Square Enix announced that the Final Fantasy Portal App will end service on October 29, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. PDT.
The app launched on August 20, 2015, and has provided Final Fantasy news, information, and other features for more than 11 years. According to the operations team, they decided to end the service after determining that it would be difficult to continue providing the best service possible for users.
Final Fantasy Portal Points distribution will end earlier, on September 30, while Points obtained during September will remain valid until October 29, shortly before the app itself shuts down. Users are asked to use any remaining Points before they expire.
The Final Fantasy Portal Site won't be affected by the app's closure and will remain available after October 29.
