FFTCG Details Blissful Eternity Booster Set Ahead of August 2026 Release

Square Enix has released official product information for Blissful Eternity, the upcoming booster set for the FINAL FANTASY Trading Card Game. The set is currently scheduled to release on August 7, 2026, following a revision from the previously announced July 31 date. Blissful Eternity is themed around FINAL FANTASY X and releases during the same period as the game’s 25th anniversary in July 2026, with Tidus featured prominently in the set.
The set includes 124 normal cards and 165 premium cards in total. Premium cards consist of foil versions of normal cards, 39 full art cards, one Noir card, and one Special card. Starting with this release, Crystal cards will no longer be included in standard FFTCG booster sets.
Blissful Eternity also introduces Noir cards, a new type of premium card. Noir cards use full art designs with a monochromatic base, accented colors, and printed character signatures, and do not feature foil stamping. The first Noir card included in the set is Cloud [11-127L]. The Special card for the set is Sephiroth [29-087L] from FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH, which is foil-stamped and features Tetsuya Nomura’s signature.
A total of 36 cards feature new artwork, with illustrations primarily drawn from FINAL FANTASY X, FINAL FANTASY V, FINAL FANTASY XI, and STRANGER OF PARADISE FINAL FANTASY ORIGIN. The set also continues the inclusion of Legacy cards, which are reprints of previously released cards presented as premium full art versions. The Legacy cards included are Gilgamesh (FFBE), Warrior of Light, and Mont Leonis, all of which remain tournament legal.
In addition, the set includes more Limit Break options, which the official announcement notes may lead to the creation of new decks.
